We request that users of JITCO Japanese Teaching Materials ひろば (hereinafter, “Teaching Materials ひろば”) register as members.

The following personal information is requested for registration purposes:

• Name
• Sex
• Year of birth
• Native language*
• Country of residence*
• Affiliated organization*

2.Purpose of Information Usage

JITCO may use the personal information collected in member registration, limited to the following purposes.

• (1)Analysis of usage conditions of Teaching Materials ひろば
• (2)Responding to inquiries from registered members themselves
• (3)Requesting questionnaire surveys for enhancing Teaching Materials ひろば
• (4)Informing about JITCO’s Japanese language education related projects

3.Restrictions on Information Provision

JITCO will never furnish personal information collected in member registration to a third party, except in the following cases.

• (1)When disclosure is requested on legal grounds
• (2)When providing information within the bounds necessary for the execution of statistical analysis of usage conditions outsourced to information processing firms
